Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Tambakberas Jombang berada di dalam pengawasan dan pembinaan Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang.
MAN Tambakberas menerima peserta didik baru untuk program :
1. Kelas Unggulan
2. Kelas Prestasi
3. Kelas Reguler
4. Kelas Reguler Plus Keterampilan:
* Keterampilan Otomotif (1 kelas Putra)
* Keterampilan Meubelair (1 kelas Putra)
* Keterampilan Tatabusana (1 kelas Putri)
Waktu & Tempat Pendaftaran,
Pendaftaran dibuka mulai tanggal 16 Juni 2012 s/d. 7 Juli 2012
Waktu : Pukul 08.00 – 13.00 WIB
Tempat : Kantor Pusat MAN Tambakberas (PP. Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang) Jl. Merpati Tambakberas Jombang.

Syarat Pendaftaran,
1. Mengisi formulir pendaftaran
2. Menyerahkan fotocopi ijazah dan SKHUN MTs/SMP yang telah di legalisir sebanyak 2 lembar.
3. Menunjukkan Ijazah dan SKHUN aslinya.
4. Menyerahkan fotocopi NISN (Nomor Induk Siswa Nasional) sebanyak 2 lembar.
5. Menyerahkan pas photo hitam putih 3×4 sebanyak 10 lembar.
6. Menyerahkan fotocopi Kartu Keluarga (KK) sebanyak 2 lembar.
7. Menyerahkan fotocopi prestasi akademik (sertifikat/piagam) bagi yang memiliki, masing-masing 2 lembar.
8. Menyerahkan fotocopi hasil test IQ, bagi yang memiliki, sebanyak 2 lembar.
9. Membayar biaya pendaftaran Rp 100.000,- .
Waktu Tes Seleksi
Tes dilaksanakan pada 8 Juli 2012 jam 08.00 – 12.00 WIB.
Materi Tes,
Materi yang diujikan:
1. Kelas Reguler : Pengetahuan Keagamaan (Tulis dan Praktik).
2. Kelas Unggulan/Prestasi: (1) Ujian Tulis: Matematika, IPA/sains, Bahasa Inggris, dan (2) Ujian Praktik: Praktik Ibadah, Membaca Al-Quran.
3. Kelas Keterampilan: (1) Ujian Tulis: Pengetahuan Dasar tentang Keterampilan dan (2) Ujian Praktik: Praktik Ibadah,  Membaca Al-Qur’an.
Pada saat tes, peserta wajib membawa pencil 2B (LJK).
Pengumuman Hasil Tes,
Pengumuman hasil tes pada 9 Juli 2012 jam 08.00 WIB.
Daftar Ulang,
Bagi calon siswa yang LULUS seleksi harus melaksanakan daftar ulang dengan  memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditentukan.
Pelaksanaan daftar ulang, sejak tanggal 10 – 12 Juli 2012
Masa Orientasi Siswa (MOS)
Pembelakalan siswa baru dilaksanakan pada 12 Juli 2012.
MOS dilaksanakan 13 – 15 Juli 2012
Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM)
